For our next project in Photo 1 we chose a photographer and learned all about them. The photographer I chose was Ernst Haas. He was born in Vienna, Austria 1921. He started out a painter but shifted his interest to Photography after World War II. He moved to America to pursue his interest in photography like many other famous photographers did. We also had to take pictures similar to their style.
I turned the first three black and white as well because not all of his photographs were in color. he worked with reflections a lot, so that is the first thing I tried.
he had a photo that was very similar to light painting, so I took this one of my Christmas Tree.
Some of his photos seemed to have something very bright in a scene of darkness, so that is what I tried to capture here. They are also very simple, which is something he liked to do.
